Someone should alert the Guardian that Jimmy holds no elected office. He hasn't been a representative of the American government in over 20 years.
His award gives him as much ground from which to speak as an Oscar does the actors who are protesting the American involvement in war.

Yassar Arafat seems to have one of those "Peace Prize" things too. I suppose that qualifies him to lecture us on US policy and Camp David agreements as well. >:P
