It's time to to mine some North Korean ports and say ALL of them are mined, and they won't be removed until North Korea stops aiding terrorists. Even better, it's time for the bombs to drop on their weapons facilities.

Hmm.. go in, see if the parts are there - get it on tape (or more liekly, digital camera).
Then, we take that freighter to deep water, take the crew off, and send the freighter and the verboten missile cargo off to Davy Jones' locker. The only question is, who does it? The SEALs or do you let a surface vessel do the deed?

Well, well, well. Twelve SCUDS, huh? If they were headed for Iraq, the jig may be up for Saddam. If it's Iran, they could end up with Hezbollah, aimed at Israel.

Horn of Africa - perhaps some Somalian warlord linked with al-Qaida and wanting to use them on the new base we're building in Djibouti?

It seems there is something going on with the cargo.......we are trying to stabilize the missiles.
It begs the question what is in those missiles??

headed to the Horn of Africa Does that make any sense? What use would anybody in Africa have for Scuds?

THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME.Governor Shintaro Ishihara on Japanese national TV three weeks ago (a Sunday talk show) said he had intelligence that the US Navy has indeed halted shipments on one or several occasions between North Korea and the Middle East comprised of sensitive material and equipment pertaining to missile/nuke development technology.
Governor Ishihara said "everybody knows it." ("shitteruyo. minna shitteru, sono koto") The show's host, Mr. Soichiro Tahara, was incredulous at this claim.
My impression at the time of seeing this on Japanese TV, was that he was given classified info. from the Japanese security agencies, who had received it from their US counterparts.

.........send the freighter and the verboten missile cargo off to Davy Jones' locker......... No.
You need the hard evidence. This is important due to the idiots in the Hague, the World Court, and the despots that inhabit the UN. The way things usually go is that WE could get charged with 'piracy on the high seas'.
Let me repeat: Hard evidence to shove in their face!

Good question.
I think I might not WANT to know...
