Then, if you didn't get a card, and the cards went to supporters, and the people who GOT the card like it, what in the heck business is it of yours? The cards were paid for by the RNC (which I donate to, thank you very much) and the RNC paid for the postage.
It is, in my opinion, NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. In addition, the NUMEROUS examples of other White House cards which had NO holiday picture on them at all, should allow anyone with an ounce of common sense to place this card in the proper context.
The card has an EXPLICIT quote from the BIBLE. President Bush is the FIRST President to acknowledge the BIBLE on his card.
The longer this thread continues, it is becoming painfully obvious that certain people LIVE to use any thread to make their anti-Bush statements. ALL OVER A CHRISTMAS CARD.
You are,indeed, a glass-half-full person.
Then, if you didn't get a card, and the cards went to supporters, and the people who GOT the card like it, what in the heck business is it of yours? IT WAS POSTED HERE. LOOK WHERE YOU ARE POSTING!
Sheesh...some people...
Oh and it's not a Christmas card. It's a Holiday card. Didn't you get one? If you had gotten one, you would know that Christmas is not mentioned in the card anywhere.
I'm trying hard to imagine what would make some of the detractors on this thread happy. Perhaps President Bush should be a plastic dashboard Jesus kind of Christian who thumps an oversized bible on Sunday and who with quivering lip and a tear in his eye convenes a panel of White House "spiritual advisors" whenever he slips a point in the polls. .... oh, no, wait.... we had that.... 8 nauseating, santimonious years of it. Frankly, I'm more than a little wary of people who wear their faith like a neon sign instead of living it.
