Viewed card and was disappointed in the image. It just did not make me think of Christmas - or even of the holiday season.
One pointsetta(?)
I didn't notice the words at first. Seemed like a religious card.
On rereading, no specific faith or holiday is mentioned (but it does quote a psalm). OK by me - maybe a little bit of political correctness involved - but no need to angonize.
Picture just doesn't get it for me. Not Christmassy enough (and I mean that in a purely non denominational).

I did. Don't worry. I offered to pay for them, so that would not be a burden to anyone.
No need to thank me, it was done out of the goodness of my heart.
Merry Christmas!

I am Green with envy over anyone privileged enough to receive a card. Thanks for sharing.

I got my card, also, and was impressed that they included the verse from Psalms. Man, I hope my Christmas Cards aren't as scrutinized as this one was.
To: Brad's Gramma
I did. Don't worry. No seriously, If they sent a million cards with actual stamps that would be a good chunk of change.

You did not read it closly enough, Martini's record is clear, he was a congressman and his votes are on numerous sites. Can you prove they are pro-life? They are not. I happen to know lawyers involved in NJ pro-life activism and I can assure you they are ALL pro abortion. I will continue my rant. Bush=Abortion

I know. Sorry for the smart aleck comment, it's just that this thread has become so hideous.
But.....the stamp $$ just goes with the territory. You and I paid for it, and I don't mind one bit.
Now....as to OTHER things I have to pay for....that's for another thread.
To: thepitts
I just pinged you to another thread, go check!

Did Coleus mention that 5 pro abortion judges were appointed in NJ, or is it my imagination repeating itself, repeating itself, repeating itself?

And you are a Christian passing judgement on someone?
Real Catholic I guess?

Man, I hope my Christmas Cards aren't as scrutinized as this one was. I just burned mine! feared they'd fall into the wrong hands.
Isn't it weird that the people on here who are so critical of our President could be praying for him instead of this silly ranting about a Christmas card if they are as faithful and Christian as they claim to be.
Thank goodness these holier than thous weren't my first exposure to Christianity.
I think a Muslim gene got loose in some of these fanatics. LOL

"I can assure you they are ALL pro abortion. I will continue my rant. Bush=Abortion "
Honestly, I mean no disrespect but why should I take your assurances about these men ? You have just admitted that you don't know them and that your information is at best second handed. You have an agenda and the President isn't onboard with the program as you envision it so you condemn him and everything he does. You want it all your way, only your way and you want it yesterday. It makes no difference that President Bush has quietly done more incrementially to sustain life in the 23 months he has been in office than the previous three administration combined. You believe you know more about these men than the President of the United States knows. Moreover you believe you know exactly how they will rule on abortion cases brought before them.
Now, I think you and I both owe an apology to the other good people on this thread for going so far off topic. Please take this subject back to the thread you started and ping any interested parties to that thread.
I apologize and Goodnight.

...involved in NJ pro-life activism and I can assure you they are ALL pro abortion. I will continue my rant. Bush=AbortionYou are one sick puppy. You are attacking, lying sbout President Bush.
I asked you if you think "indecent Christians" are in charge of the Catholic church and you ignored it. Why? Clean up your own house before you talk about the dirt in your neighbor's.
I am pro-life and I think it is equally sinful for dirty old men to rape little boys and be protected by other dirty old men. You ignore what's going on in your on church and call yourself a Christian? You're not even a good Catholic. You are a good liar!
To: lonestar
I think it's rather ironic that these "Super-Christians" (she said, sarcastically) - during the Christmas season, when they ought to have their chops up - can't muster up the benefit of the doubt for a Christian POTUS.
Bah freakin' humbug. Sheesh. Do they have to urinate on everything?
