You're making a mountain out of a molehill. I have observed that many members of FR have issues to which they are particularly attached. Some only post on threads pertaining to that subject. Perhaps you should go to the WOD threads if you want to analyze single-minded people; there are members there that I never see anywhere else. There's nothing wrong with that.
