I can't totally disagree with Gustavo Arellano's comments. There is an underlying tone in Michel Malkin's writings regarding Illegals which makes me a bit wary, this is an example:

and blames Latino day laborers for the Twin Towers attack.

I've heard similar comments related to MM's articles.

In part, the terrorists were able to exploit the black market and security lapses precipitated by the presence of millions of Illegals.

It' also a fact that at least some of them WERE illegals. They may have came here legally,but they had overstayed their visas and this made them "illegals".

It is probably time for all real citizens to actively visit the offices of their congressmen and let them know that the free ride is over for illegal aliens.

Thanks for posting this, ST. I consider it a positive sign that Michelle is beginning to have an impact. They wouldn't waste time writing hit pieces if she were only singing to the choir. Unfortunately, it's likely to get a lot nastier.
