That's a very fine gift, Billie. I am bit puzzled how you were able to get yourself inside of that package. I guess you must have had help with the cover. :-)

You have just turned me into a drooling Homer Simpson, with that photo!

I want to thank you wonderful talented ladies for the page. I am humbled by all of the wonderful compliments by you and all of the great Freepers on this wonderful site. I have a lot of people here who inspire me on the graphics. Many have sent me wonderful photos that form the basis for some funny montages. The compliments have special significance when I consider the wealth of talent that all of you possess.

My final exam was this morning, and this page was a welcome delight to come home to.

Come on oh NerdyOne - get geeky here for your sweet wife.

She's borne your children, decorated your home, baked your Christmas cakes, stained your decks at midnight - get the machines networked - like now! ;z-z0

I hope Santa is extra good to you this year. :-)

Since you have often corrected my spelling in the past, grammatically what does this sentence mean? I.e. Did you mean "Whoever" knew or did you mean WHO? knew....lol...picky, picky, picky..today...that's me...

My sentence is grammatically perfect! For "Who" I used the definition: The person or persons that; whoever: Who believes that will believe anything.  If  I was referring to are beloved freeper 'whoever' I would have used only lower case letters. She's very sensitive about that.....

I have to admit that you scared me. For a second I thought my streak of 1427 posts without a typo or a grammatical error had ended. :-)

I saw the promo for the Children of Dune while watching the mini series TAKEN. Another 5 episodes to go. Children of Dune looks like a must see. I love good sc-fi.

I can come out of hiding now. I've been so mad because I hadn't gotten my White House Christmas card.

My friend, who I recommended for a Bush appointment when he was gov, not only got a card but also an ornament from the Bushes last week.

All is well. My card arrived today; was post-marked Saturday--in Crawford.

I'm wondering if only Texans' were mailed in Crawford rather than in D.C.

I can sleep well tonight.

Thanks, Angel! Where I go to college isn't so bad. We have a veteran's monument on campus and an ROTC department. We have an alumnus who was killed at the Pentagon on 9-11. There is also a Young Republicans organization. I would guess it is about 50/50 conservative/liberal.
