and aren't the citizens somewhat of a govorning body anyway? After all, it is "we the people" and not "the government or state the people".

It is laid out clearly in the constitution. I know a lot of people overlook that little inconvenience but it is there in black and white. One of the first actions of the founders was to bring the militia under federal control to be used to quell attempted revolutions of which they knew something about. I don’t know what to call these guys other than “dead meat” the moment they step over the line from observers to assuming some type of police powers on their own.

I hope these guys don't become "dead meat" because they seem to be the only ones that possess the balls enough to do something.

One of the president's first responsibilities is to protect the country from invasion. He's not doing it. Blame him, not the guys that are trying to do a job that he refuses to do.
