That is all well and good but where were these guys 3 years ago? Did this problem just surface on January 20th, 2001 or did they know how they would be received by a Clinton/Reno regime? Much like the Klayman Basin patriots, they kept their heads down until a Republican president was elected and the real personal threat had passed. This "challange to be arrested" smells like week old fish.

Events unfold far less dictated by who is in office as you suggest than as concerns over them come to a head. A little research into your own questions will lead you to conclusions a bit more substanitive than your easy explanations of week old fish.

"...they kept their heads down until a Republican president was elected and the real personal threat had passed."

You have always been some kind of smarta$$, but this is over the top even for you.

Until you go and stand an armed watch on the border fo this country, you can shove your criticism of these patriots where the sun don't shine.

I've been there, seen the travesty that has been created by the open border situation, and I've stood watch on the border. You wouldn't make a pimple on any one of these guy arses.

They are American citizens who have the Constitutional right to do what they're doing. There is a foreign government requesting they be arrested so it will be interesting to see what side Bush comes down on. The Mexican government is demanding the FBI take action against these Americans ---they want them arrested and the Mexicans allowed to break any law ---including trespassing and squatting on Americans' private property.

The same place conservatives like you were in '94 when the sink emperor was re-elected, with your head up your ass.

Texasforever, if with your "Klayman Basin Patriots" statement you are referring to the Klamath Basin, then I will out and out tell you to your face that you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

If you are referring to something else ... fine and good ... it's lost on me. Either way, your efforts to demonize and down talk what these people are doing are very weak IMHO. Like how a smudge of dust pales in comparison to the glow of diamonds.

These people are willing to take great risk to do what they feel is right for our nation. Against an issue where current policies have admittedly failed, even admitted by their detractors. They neither asked for, or expect your support. They are going to do it out of the conviction of their hearts and IMHO, the situation warrants it ... just like the situation at Klamath warranted it.

If, in other areas, you have taken great personal risk to defend and protect this nation and our liberty ... then I applaud you for that and urge you to then try and project that conviction that you displayed onto the actions of these folks and at least show some respect.

If you never have ... then you should really think about doing so. No one who has never taken great risk to defend liberty can ever know the measure or the sweetness of what true liberty really means. They may enjoy the fruits thereof (which is fine) but they can never know the full measure of what it takes, or what it means IMHO.

I do hope you recall that under the regime of the last Republican president, Randy Weaver's wife was murdered by an FBI sniper in Idaho and the BATF made their plans to raid the Branch Davidian church and kill its pastor, though their plan wasn't carried out until the Clinton administration took over. And while Clinton did indeed pardon several Puerto Rican terrorist enemies of the US ibn the final days he held office, it was the Republican Bush family whose oil industry ties to the Mexicans invading the United States who are attempting to grant blanket amnesty to the hundreds of thousands of illegal alian felon invaders already within our borders.

Three years ago, most of *these guys* were on the border, where most of their number reside, watching a horrible situation get worse. After 09/11 it became clear that our government was incapable of preventing such enemy attacks by the foreign enemies allowed here by those supposedly in charge of such matters, so they can no longer be counted upon to prevent further attacks, only to cover up their own complicity, failure and responsibility for the deaths of more Americans to come.

It looks more and more like Bush II will have no more chance of a second term than Bush I did. It'll serve the greedy thief right.
