You haven't called me on anything. You simply posed a question that really doesn't go to the heart of the matter. The Kuwaiti's have over the years presented falsehoods and lies in order to foment war. And they do this in an attempt to get the US to fight their wars for them and to settle their disputes. It is a crappy little country that deserves no sympathy.

You're blind as to the question precisely because you know the implications of the answer, which blows your rabid anti-Kuwait-based "argument" out of the water. To suggest that Kuwait would rather have an unfettered and vengeful Shi'ite population eyeing things up greedily than have them and the Ba'ath-dominated Iraqi leadership more at their throats versus at Kuwait's is pure lunacy. Considering that there won't be the "hook" of WMD when the Shi'ites decide to move south that there was when Saddam moved south, it's far less likely that the US is going to come to "poor, little" Kuwait's aid.
