KUN0057 4 GEN 0240 KUWAIT /KUNA-IME2 POL-KUWAIT-IRAQ-ADDRESS Al-Sager: Iraqi President's letter apparent threat for countries in the region
KUWAIT, Dec 8 (KUNA) -- Head of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee MP Mohammed AL-Sager said the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's letter is an apparent threat not only for Kuwait but also for all countries in the region without exception, proving that the Iraqi regime still represents an element of instability in the region. In a press statement, Al-Sager said the timing of the letter directed to the Kuwaiti people coincided with submitting a report on the weapons of mass destruction, to divert the Arab and Iraqi people's attention by this step taken under international pressure. Al-Sager also described the letter as a mistake in a series of deadly mistakes and miscalculations, and a clear call for war threatening all the Gulf countries. This apology would bring the region back to square number 1, he said. The first part of the letter highlights new justifications for the invasion crime and contradicts with reality, history and even with Saddam Hussein's previous false justifications for the past aggression, he added. "In 1989, there were no U.S. forces in Kuwait conducting manoeuvres led by Schwartzkopf, the Head of the regime himself offered the highest Iraqi Order to H.H. the Amir indicating the depth of the relations between the two countries..," he elaborated. This man is despicable, and extremely stupid. He certainly is not suitable to be president, or even dogcatcher.
Here again we have the disgusting and dangerous legalistic approach to terrorism that defined the Clinton/Gore administration: "we're gonna' put you in jail ... if we can get you into an American court."
They are too dense to understand that war has been declared upon America.
And under the circumstances, we don't need "proof."
Perhaps more so than his potential to distribute WMD, Saddam needs to be removed so that the systemic and pervasive evil of the Middle East can be dismantled and destroyed (and when I say "evil", I mean that same spiritual psychosis which flourished in Germany from 1932 to 1945).
Gore does not seem to understand that Iraq is only the first, to be followed by internal revolt in Iran, which will destabilize the evil complacence of the Saudis, and generally disrupt the financial support that goes to Pakistani madrassas, Hamas, Hezbolla, and the rest of these satanic psychos.
The Rats are quite content to have the status quo reign in the Middle East, but their eight years of thumbsucking and their childish need for "proof" and "evidence" led directly - and I do mean directly without qualification - to 9/11.
Nothing, at least until Israel is made inhabitable by Iraqi WMD. Even then, unless Iraq makes a move o Mecca, I doubt that the UN is going to sanction any meaningful action against Iraq.
Indeed, if they do shoot down an American jet, they'll probably get the UN Medal.
Methinks that he is laying very low right now. He doesn't want us to get a fix on him and scared to death. Will the real Sddam please stand up.
Let's just recycle the last war's pamphlets.

Cool (although macabre) souvenir. Where you there?
yup, in a reportorial capacity.

Yeah, those damn warmonger Kuwaitis. Remember, they were right there in the middle of it when Iraq invaded them in 1990. I'll bet that some of them even shot back!
An incredibly moronic statement even for you Demidog. If Kuwait is "calling" for war, its because they want Saddam gone for his insane, cruel and dangerous presence even for an Islamic country. I dont expect to change your mind though... You will blame it on oil as you happily pump your 1.20 gas. *rolling eyes*
Kuwait is calling for war because they know that they aren't the ones that will have to fight it. They have issued more than a few lies in their attempt to pit the US and the rest of the world against Iraq. And the original Iran/Kuwait dispute was over oil. Hate to break it to you but that was the prime reason given that Iraq invaded Kuwait.
You grossly underestimate him.
Yeah, our memory only goes back to 9-11. The Islamic fundies still haven't figured out how stupid their move was. However, the rest of the world is beginning to get it.
It seems to have been brilliant. If they hate us because we are free they have managed to invoke a war on the freedoms of American Citizens by their own government.
Please refresh my memory. How did it really happen?
The right protected by the 2nd Amendment protects all our other rights, and Ashcroft and Co. has made it clear that an individual's right to keep bear arms is guaranteed by the Constitution . Granted, gun laws are still both way too numerous and restrictive, but you must admit that the situation is far better now that Clinton & Reno have been put out to pasture.
So how, may I ask, have our freedoms diminished since 9/11? The ridiculous War on Drugs continues as before. Email spying is also nothing new (Echelon and various other mass data collecting systems have been around for many years).
