Coke, crack and meth are hard drugs in my book. Pot is not. Ecstasy I don't know enough to say though some classify it as hard drug. LSD is a hard and dangerous drug though not addictive far as I know. What galls me is you have people who support pot legalization and use that as a front. You probe them as little and you find out they support all drugs being legalized. I resent this Tom Foolery. It's as if medicinal pot/legal pot is the Trojan horse that leads to legalization of all drugs.

Why should it gall you? I am forthrightly saying it makes no difference whether hard drugs are legal or not. Most of the Drug War is about pot, plus a few other things we can probabl agree are soft drugs, like pilfered prescription Valium, etc. Draw the line anywhere you like, but if only pot were made legal, most of the Drug Warriors would be out of business.

What could they do? How about spending some time to look up a rapist on AnyWho, drive over to his house, and arrest him.

That's the "Big Duh" here: If there are thousands of known criminals that are easy to find in Detroit, what is going to do more to make Detroit a liveable city? The Drug War? Or arresting people with default warrants?
