>>Al and Tipper stayed about an hour and a half signing copies of their books for their fans, which numbered around 400 according to Olsson's and as reported by The Washington Post.

So if 1/4 of the people had two books, they sold, what, 500 books? Seems like this was a resounding success for the Gores; they doubled book sales in one day!

It was never an objective to cut into Al's sales. The goal was to confront Al on the lies he and Tipper and Karenna told on 20/20. Karenna said Al dismised her suggestion that he work the phones to get more suporters on his corner and even called to "call off the dogs". Well a couple of sources have Al Gore calling the ALF-CIO to get more supporters on his corner.

That's why I taunted him with "Tell Al John Sweeney's out here" several times during the day.

THe Kool Aid drinkers were going to hug their tree anyway, I never expected they'd turn away. It looked like they had somewhere between 300-500 people, mostly couples. That store is kind of small. Perhaps as big as a large book store/newstand in a major airport, or in a mall.
