Uh, butter comes from cow's milk...

But I have no idea about *other* milk being able to serve as the basis for palatable butters. Cheese, yes.

Europe has other nationalistic problems too. Beside, "The Frendh follow nobody, and nobody follows the French."

That's not to say that any French inventions are devoid of merit.
