It's no slight against you or your country, but obviously Nigeria had beauty contests as well to pick their beauty queen who won last year.
I am not suggesting that Turkey will explode, but I am suggesting that the organisers of the Miss World competition have a motivation to seek controversy. That's all.

The first Turkish win at an international beauty pageant was in 1934. To put us in the same boat as those murderous freaks in Nigeria is a huge insult.
