No, AFAIK. Many Blacks who are not and never have been Muslim give their children Arabic first names and have been doing so since the 1970s, if not before. Yusef, Jamal, and Omar are a few names commonly given to males; Jamila, Aisha and Yasmin are some of the names that are prevalent among females. Never assume that a Black person with an Arabic first name is Muslim- if the last name is also Arabic then he or she is more likely to be Muslim.
