Dutch felt Srebrenica 'not worth sacrifice' (UN and the Dutch should be ICC material!)
BBC News ^ | December 6 2002 | Geraldine Coughlan

A former United Nations commander in Bosnia has told a Dutch parliamentary inquiry into the Srebrenica massacre that it was clear to him that Dutch authorities would not sacrifice its soldiers for the enclave.

About 7,000 Muslim men were killed after Serb forces took over Srebrenica in 1995, which was under the protection of Dutch peacekeepers.

Retired British General Rupert Smith was speaking during the last day of hearings in the inquiry at The Hague.

He said the impression he had received from Dutch authorities before the massacre was: "It is not worth dying for this."

If the inquiry's report shows that a lack of information between the Dutch army and the government could have prevented the slaughter, it may pave the way for claims for damages against the Netherlands.

Cover-up theory

Mr Smith is the highest former UN official to testify in the inquiry into the fall of Srebrenica, which was declared a safe haven by the UN.

He criticised the Netherlands for sending 200 lightly-armed peacekeepers to defend the enclave against Serb forces.

He also said that the UN could have done more to prevent the genocide, which has been described as Europe's worst atrocity since World War II.

In trying to determine the Dutch role in the tragedy, the inquiry is focusing on whether the army covered-up information about Serb atrocities after Srebrenica fell.

On Friday, Dutch military officials gave evidence about a photographic film taken by a lieutenant which turned out to be blank after it was developed at an army laboratory.

The photos had allegedly shown the bodies of Muslims, and Serbs separating the men from the women.

The report is due out on 27 January.

Well, you know I am Dutch. But I think both the UN and the Dutch government at that time (no worry, they were socialists/liberals) should be tried at the ICC. Not the Dutch soldiers though. They were blamed for being cowards, but the ones to blame are the UN and politicians.

This will be a good method to prove the world the ICC is not a fake organzation to put the blame on the US, or to convict Israel.

The UN should be charged and convicted, as well as the lefties who thought it was a good idea to locate the ICC in the Netherlands and to send some boy-scouts to Srebrenica.

But it will never happen though, because the ICC and the UN are one big scam!

About 7,000 Muslim men were killed

I stopped following the propaganda mill which was ICTY but was this alleged fact ever proven by physical evidence? I'm aware of the alphabetized Muslim stooges who testified to all kinds of atrocities but those fantasies were nothing but prosecutorial induced stories.

This kind of thing seems to happen a lot with the UN/NATO missions in the Balkans.

Lots of testimony in the ICTY against Milosevic seems to just disappear.  None-the-less, it's accorded gospel!

In 1996 they uncovered 460 bodies. There are sources who say there were 3.000 missing, not 7.000.

I know that their this kind of people like to lie about numbers (remember Jenin?).

It is a complicated situation. So much information and disinformation. The Dutch government/army leaders made sure that not one single film/negative of evidence of dead people exsist (like in the last part of the text).

Also the photo's of an F-16 recce overflight were wrecked by the army labratory (seems they wreck a lot of evidence).

Big surprise. They also thought it wasn't worth dying for Holland itself over 60 years ago.

Well just like Racek and the purported massacre there most of what was alleged was false and where bodies were found they usually were in the context of firefights between KLA or Bosnian Muslim forces and Serbian forces. The BBC has been notorious in its anti-Serbian propaganda and this comment, "prevent the genocide, which has been described as Europe's worst atrocity since World War II. ," is nothing but indicative of the same old broken record.

Bump!!!! The Dutch national government is the same bunch that made Amsterdam into the Libertine capital of the world. The ICC is a Socialist scam that opposes the very things they claim to stand for. You're right, the Dutch soldiers are not cowards. Politicans are trash regardless of the country they resided in.

Dutch soldiers ARE sacrificed and thrown to the lions.

Dutchbat KNEW from observation that Srebrenica was used as a staging ground by Muslims to attack Serbs and run back to be protected by Dutchbat.

Dutchbat knew about US intel operation going on in Srebrenica.

Dutchbat knew about SAS training Muslims in Srebrenica.

They knew, and their relationship with Muslims was not particularly good in the months prior to "genocide".

When BSA broke Muslim defence lines and entered Srebrenica, Dutch decided it is not worth dieing for Muslims. The reason? Muslim men were ARMED SOLDIERS, not civilians.

Dutchbat DOCUMENTED everything that was going on during the fall of Srebrenica and adfterwards.

But when they were returned to Holland, they were locked up and DEBRIEFED by Dutch military intel and told the line they had to toe. Their films were destroyed.

Once in Holland, Dutchbat was attacked by vicious media and "human rights" groups as if they were guilty for "genocide'. Especially by groups financed by Soros Foundation (ICTY cottage industry)

Members of DUtchbat WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY WHAT REALLY HAPPENNED IN SREBRENICA.

THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AND THIER SOLDIER'S HONOR.

Some were not able to bear such inhuman treatment and COMMITED SUICIDE. Who is guilty for their death?

Their brass did not protect them from the media harangue.

Fortunatelly, NIOD had proceesed all data and wrote report.

The truth about Srebrenica is buried within 7000 pages of the NIOD report.

But as if there was not enough of smearing, Bosnian Muslims want to SUE Dutch government for being accompilce in genocide.

They already sue Yugoslavia for $100 Billion at World Court.

Holland has to act QUICKLY and DEBUNK SREBRENICA LIE, ootherwise risks being sued for $100 Billion by Muslim sscumbags.

As always, if in doubt, follow the money. Human righs groups are financed by Soros Foundation that has heavilly invested into ICTY scam in hope of reaping profits from the Genocide judgement.

They were the ones who did the killings, but I am talking about the failure to protect people against them.

If the UN wants to play the cop so badly, they should do it the right way. Not let a bunch of boy-scouts try to stop a whole army, refuse them air-support and then put the blame on them.

I was in NY in September this year. My first trip to the US.

I am looking around for a nice job in the US. And some people I know want to move to the US too. It's hard to leave the things I got here, and to make a new start.

But when the time is right, I'll be there.

Did you forget why they pulled the trigger? Does Oric mean anything to you? There are other reasons that created the situation for the Serbs to recover Srebrenica.
