Actually their organization is much like that of an organized crime shakedown. It is a form of the extortion that was rampant in the depression era mafias. But rather than threats of violence, these clowns are using a threat of protracted litigation, which can literally bankrupt a small company.
One can only hope that there are some legitimate mobsters out there who are a little bit ticked off that these clowns have started up a shakedown racket in their territory. :-)
BTW I would be willing to bet that these guys are disbarred before next Christmas.
