As loose as our borders continue to be, Saddam has any number of ways to get a nuke here and get it detonated. We have to assume he will when attacked. But he (or a client terrorist) will eventually, anyway. The question is, will he try to do so on our timetable or his?

The other question is, given the way GWB has squandered his momentum by buying into useless, wishy-washy UN dickering and "inspections", will he then have the b@lls to do what is necessary if we are attacked? Or will he continue to defer to Kofi and his communist and terrorist stooges? I'm not so sure any more.

One thing we could wish for, if he's going to use nukes anyway (and not to wish this on anyone), is that he direct one of them at Israel. That'll be the end of his regime, and probably his country. The Israelis will take care of the problem, once and for all. I'll be rooting them on if they do.

If Saddam nuke Isreal, the Isrealies are likely to take out Iran and Syria along with Iraq. That whole region could be radioactive for decades.

Unfortunately, Saddam doesn't even have to get it into the country. All he has to do is get close. There are plenty of targets on our borders.
- Detroit
- Cleveland
- Buffalo
- Rochester
- Boston
- New York
- Miami
- New Orleans
- Houston
- Corpus Christi
- El Paso/Ciudad Juarez
- San Diego/Tijuana
- El Lay
- Frisco
- Seattle
- even D.C.
Texas stands out as a target, as does NY and DC. Unfortunately, I doubt Canada and Mexico are devouting even a tenth of our pitiful effort to watch their borders and international shipping traffic.
