Will the TX "democracy" ever get over the Nov. 5 defeat? I suspect this loss will nag the party for many years to come. Former Governor Ann W. Richards had dreams of an upset victory, but the Republicans won ALL STATEWIDE races for the fourth consecutive election; 1996, 1997, 2000, 2002. The only place for the GOP to go statewide is "down."

Democrats won minorities by a landslide — but lost whites by a landslide. And there are more whites.

Hence the problem for Democrats. The solution? Unlimited Third World immigration. Further demonization of whites, especially "redneck trailer trash".

Democrats ... managed to turn off white voters.

The one voting bloc everyone seems content to ignore. Until they turn up missing.

Rindy puts it more bluntly: "Every time some Democrat babbled 'Dream Team,' it sent a little telegram to 72% of the likely voters in Texas: 'Whitey, we don't need you.' "
Well, that IS their message, nationwide.

The problems with the democrat ticket was John Sharp. Tell all of your Texas democrat friends (if any) that if they really want to win in four years, they need to 1)Get Sanchez and Kirk to run again for those two spots, and then 2) bring diversity to the ticket by finding a gay oriental female to run for Lt. Gov. and 3) make sure that Hillary spends a lot of time in the state.

I'll guarantee that they will see a significant change in the vote if they will take these 3 steps. (do I need to add a /sarcasm tag to this?)
