Good Morning, everyone!

Just reading of 'our boy' is exhausting, much less keeping up with him.
I thus will (uncharacteristically) give my reaction succinctly:

Every 'Family' needs one like him!

"I shovelled for five hours last night. Had to sleep."

It's some good exercise, isn't it?! I was bushed last night...MUD

"Those few readers who have straggled this far may strongly suspect that portions of this biography aren't up to the highest standards of journalistic integrity you've come to expect from FR'S Finest."

Enjoyed straggling through this one. You did a supurb job, FTH!!!

BTW, Mr. Slim owes me a free lunch at Sam Miller's in downtown Richmond for a football wager I recently won. AND, come Sunday he will likely owe me and my missus a "night on the town" in beautiful Richmond, VA. My prize includes a limosine ride to the dining establishment of my choice, overnight accomodations at the exclusive Hotel Jefferson, and theater tickets to whatever play I choose. What a guy, this Mudboy Slim!!

I wanna go on record as saying Slick did NOT give Slim his name

Whoa there, you're not suggesting my unauthorized biography is INACCURATE, are you!!?! :D

Little know fact: Mudboy Slim was curiously modest about wanting to do a thread like this, that's why we had to do an unauthorized biography.

"If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST person?!

LOL. I always like this one. However, assuming an oval track, if you overtake the last person, than you have "lapped" them and are likely in first place.

Thanks! It's really Billie's graphics that give it that "punch."

Ah, there's nothing more delicious than roast Mud. You guys have other biographical memories you'd like to share here? ;)

For example, OKSooner has noted:
Noodlin' is, of course, Mudboy's favorite sport. But I'm being redundant, I know. It involves getting inebriated enough to reach into an adult catfish's den in a river bank, find his open mouth, insert your hand in through his mouth and getting a handful of gills. But not too inebriated to bring him out and throw him in a burlap bag to take home for dinner.

I've heard that sometimes a catfish den (flatheads are supposed to be best) can sometimes be home to water moccasins. Or as some folk around here call them, "mossacins".

Wouldn't know if Mud has ever had that experience, although I heard an anecdote to that effect. Supposedly he screeched loud enough that they heard him all the way up to the plutonium factory, and he threw a couple of adult "mossacins" who were in the throes of the physical act of mating all the way to the opposite bank of the bayou.

But that's just hearsay, of course.

Well, Dallas....you set the tone for Free's writeup with that Bellyflop photo, and it sent me searching for a pic of "pigpen" to make a background. Nothing but the finest dirt for the mudboy. :)
