In an attack on the kibbutz at Kfar Darom, the Muslim Brothers showed fanatical courae before they were beaten off and withdrew, leaving their dead behind. The Jews found that every one of the slain brother wore a parchment about twelve by eighteen inches long, covered with Arabic script proclaiming the wearer "a true Muslim fighting the Jihad, who is therefore immune to all manner of lead and steel."
pg 123 (re;founders) The Aga Khan is a descendent of the leaders of the Assassins. The Ismailis to some extent merged with the Sufi sect of mystics, and the Sufis were an influence on the founders of the Muslim Brotherhood, which in turn influenced both Gen. Nasser and the founders of al-Fatah.
pg 127 (Arafats role) Among the Palestinians themselves, numerous stories circulated about the identity of Fatah's leader. (Arafat) Several Months after Isreali forces entered the Gaza Strip, a search for his relatives began and numerous members of the Arafat families were questioned. and, indeed, the answer was found in Gaza. The man's real name is Abd el-Rahman Abd el-Rauf Arafat el-Qudwa el-Husseini, AKA Yassir Arafat....
According to PLO releases, Arafat was born in Jerusalem......One of Arafats cousins told Yaari that the Jerusalem story was only to cover up the fact that he was born outside of Palesine.
pg 131 In 1956 Yasir Arafat was trained in sabotage at an Egyptian army school.....Khalil el-Wazir failed at college and went to Saudi Arabia to teach for a while. He move to Kuwait torejoin Arafat. One day in the summer of 1957 a dozen men met on a deserted beach outside the town of Al-Kuwait a few hours before sunst. Their purpose in meeting was to set up a terrorist organization that would one day drive the Jews out of Palesine. Three of them were associates of Arafat's from Cairo, all more or less steeped in the philosophy of the Muslim Brotherhood. All at the meeting had traveled to Prague in 1956.
