Yes, that's what it seemed like. The son told the media his dad was feeling suicidal. This sounds like another example of a dip---- wanting to kill himself, but wanting to hurt other people too (and bring down the evil capitalist system, and whatnot).

Yes, the misguided suicide had a Middle-Eastern father who divorced his mother. The press suppressed that.
