He is two-faced and a phony. I watched him last night to see Jack Welch, and Matthews managed to bungle that too.

Every time Welch started to say something positive about Bush, or negative about Clinton, he cut Welch off.

There are only so many hours in a day. Can't think of where Ailes would put Mathews. I'm still trying to figure out who got the boot for the new folks, Greg Jarrett and that Phillips guy. I've seen David Asman still on....but haven't seen John Scott for awhile.

Hey, Mathews' ratings moved UP from .2 to .3 and now he's tied with Donahue! As truely awful as these 2 shows are, I still don't understand Connie Chung's show being watched more than theirs......her delivery (read: news reading and stupid interview questioning) is dead/zombie-like.

I can only offer my opinion: Chris runs off at the mouth and can hardly let his guest get a word in edgewise. Plus, doesn't Connie include a lot of fluff in her show? Larry King is ahead of all three and he is mostly fluff celebrity-oriented interviews.

Not quite. It makes him an honest loser. He wants the Dems to win, but he can't bring himself to use all means to justify that end. That's why he was watchable for a while during the Clinton fiascos--he did want some of the truth to come out. Maybe not all, but some.
