But O'Reilly doesn't think it was a hate crime - just a guy who 'went off'.....uh huh.....

I dont watch him very much, but he honestly caught me by surprise last night when he said that. It doesn't wash with the fact that the killer invited her upstairs to his appartment, assaulted her and then killed her. That's premeditated, obviously spurred by her comments questioning his lifestyle. He didn't just "go off".

I believe that O'Reilly's comments were intended to bring us back to reality of the "UN-AMERICANISTIC" properties of this "some are more equal than others" creation of the term, "hate crime."

It's used to try to claim that one murder is worse than another--to claim that one person's life more valuable than another's--simply because of some screwy membership in a group! It's set up to offer up more protection to "speeeeecial people."

That is not "American."

IF O'Reilly believes that this "hate crime" farce is wrong, he was right to disclaim any attempt to tag the label onto any murder.

We can't, however, roll over and let the pc, agendized scum do this; so we do have to call attention to the hypocracy. With this in mind, maybe O'Reilly could have made note of the comparisons.

I'm willing to give Mr. O. the benefit of this doubt.
