Another busy day for President Bush today as he signed a few new bills and hosted the lighting of the White House Menorah. The President signed the 'Anton's Law' which requires shoulder belts in addition to lap straps in the middle rear seats of vehicles. Bush also signed the Dot Kids Implementation and Efficiency Act, which creates a new kids-safe 'dot-kids' domain on the Internet that would contain only material appropriate for children under 13. After signing the bill, he took questions from the media, and once again stated that he is not optimistic regarding the inspections in Iraq. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura hosted Afghani teachers as they learn to become master teachers, who will eventually be responsible for training teachers back in their home country. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

For those without Fox, C-SPAN is also covering it. And they are not TALKING, like Fox is!!
To: rintense
Thank you, rintense - I would have missed it, if it weren't for you. Got the TV on Fox News now, ready to watch.

Switch to C-SPAN, they are covering everything with no talking or interruptions for weather reports.

Has there been another President who worked SO hard on SO MANY issues and had such ongoing crisis as President Bush has had to deal with? I can't even imagine the stacks of papers he must atleast have to skim or sign just to keep up, even with the incredible cabinet staffers he has!
To: Mo1
I am SO glad you said that! I was trying to figure out whose voice that is! You are right! Kenny Rogers!
To: Miss Marple
LOL .. it took me a bit wo figure that one out

They are so awesome! I'm liking this song that they are playing right now!

Doesn't he look great with that cowboy hat on? I am so proud to be an American! I don't care what the rest of the countries think about our country or our wonderful President! Those weenies!

Thanks, ladies - got C-Span on now.
I think it's Roy Clark playing Santa. Hee Haw replaced the Smothers Brothers Show, so it must be someone from HH. It looked like Roy to me!

I'm sorry, but this is worth repeating:
THE PRESIDENT IN A COWBOY HAT! WATCH OUT!
Can't wait for the pictures tonight!
To: azGOPgal
Barbara Eden and Roy Clark! LOL!
To: Otta B Sleepin
You are right!! Roy Clark! I am SO easily swayed by the power of suggestion!
I knew it was someone with a husky voice!
Barbara Eden did well with "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas."
This will be replayed on C-Span at 8PM EDT.

The music is great, and I love these Three Mo' Tenors, I'd never heard of them before. We need a little Christmas now, as the old Roz Russell song goes.

I missed the singing (still had Fox on) but the twinkling eyes and big grin gave him away!
