They don't know that a vaccine won't stop it. One of the things they haven't dealt with is the fact that most westerners have a far better diet, better sanitation, and have supplimented sufficiently that we may be resistant to the effects. I know that Russia tested it, that they even had an outbreak, but we also know that the average Russian diet was very deficient in nutrients. They have absolutely no idea how the strain will react.
What would end up being really strange is if as a result of something let loose by the nutty Islamics ended up destroying Islam and not the hated west. Stranger things have happened.
I certainly hope you're right about that. We'll unfortunately have to wait and see, it looks like. But keeping fingers crossed, nothing else to be done at this point.
Yes, maybe it will spare many of our population due to better health, nutrition, etc. I hope Saddam is the first one to fall if this is released though.
