I hope this doesn't offend you.
Islam
To: Fintan
Sure, it's offensive to Muslims. But fair is fair ... if the cartoonists are free to knock around Christians (especially Catholics) then they're also free to knock around Muslims as well.

It's interesting to note that Auth, the political cartoonist, normally draws cartoons with a strong lefty slant.

Great cartoon, keep up the good work.

I'm tired of hearing how offended Islamics are when they themselves have yet to master the dark mysteries of personal hygiene. My vote for post of the day! Right-on Yak!

How can they be offended? Great discernment and research is required when choosing a horse to hitch your wagon to. There is no higher expression of love than the truth, and this cartoon is true in all respects.

Even the lefties are starting to "get" it. They'd be the first to get nailed under Shar'ia, and the smarter ones are starting to realize it.

>>BTW, have you you seen political cartoons of Jews in the Arab press?
Good point. These guys provide English translations of the mainstream Arab press. It's interesting reading:

Your post truly states the bottom line. I think many, if not most, of the quiet, peace-loving Muslims living in every neighborhood of every city of every state in America are sympathizers -- they send $$ home, they look the other way, they open doors, they love their little enclaves in Los Angeles, Detroit, NC, TX and elsewhere. It's too late, the American Patriot Underground is already being organized, the battle lines are drawn. It staggers the mind, kiddo.

If I were a Muslim, I would be humiliated by the deeds of my fellow Muslims, in fact, I would be so humilated that I would denounce Islam, and leave it behind and proclaim something more decent.

Truth hurts, doesn't it? Evening hello and bump.

I will continue to treat individual Muslims with kindness and respect even as I call their relgion what it is: the dark work of a violent madman and liar. Good point.

It took me several seconds to realize that was a burka-clad woman. Kept thinking it was a ... er ... nevermind.
