Well, he obviously did a heckuva job in Georgia...but in the absence of an overriding issue like the flag, I wonder if he'll be as effective. Hope so...

He could establish quite a reputation as a political operative for himself if he can pull this one off.

As a Georgia activist working on Saxby's campaign and for the GA GOP under Ralph's leadership, the flag wasn't an issue in the Senate race. We won in large part due to the grassroots effort spearheaded by Ralph.

Well, he (Ralph Reed) obviously did a heckuva job in Georgia...but in the absence of an overriding issue like the flag, I wonder if he'll be as effective. TheBigB, Louisiana has the equally important issue of abortion. Mary Landrieu is pro-abortion, even though she hypocritically boasts that she voted to ban partial birth abortion. She conveniently fails to mention that she also voted for every RAT amendment to gut the bill, and only voted for it because she knew that there were not enough votes to override Pres. Clinton's veto. She has also voted with the pro-abortion folks on just about every bill that has come up. Suzie Terrell, on the other hand, is 100% pro-life. I think Ralph Reed can energize the former Tony Perkins supporters, in particular, for which pro-life was their primary issue.
