I guess it's almost the perfect time for FOX to have an evening news program on broadcast channels ala ABCNNBCBSPBS.

It makes a lot of sense, and Fox has the news staff and major market stations to do it. My guess is that they would be #1 in TV news immediately.

JMO, but the 6:30 PM news broadcasts of old(Peter, Dan, and Tom) will be gone within 10 years.

Traditional broadcast channels make more money running sitcoms or local news in that time slot and the traditional networks are bleeding money from their news divisions.

In 10 years you will see CNN/ABC, MSNBC, and FOX as where people will get thier news over TV, with Fox leading the way.

That leaves CBS out of the cable loop, with ole Dan blathering.
