Darn us wacko, right-wing, Christian extremists. If only we weren't so bad for the Republican Party.
To: Texas Eagle
Since when have people with morals and values been labeled as right winged wackos? Since the progressive leftist communist democratic line of feminisim bull crap started publically voicing. That's when.

Opposition to Homosexual Agenda Propelled GOP Victories Across Nation Ha ha, on other threads here they claim it was anti-abortion the lead to the wins.
Success has a thousand fathers, failure is an orphan.

When Democrats crossover to vote for Republicans, it is because of our Pro-life and Pro-family stance.

Bump for the Boy Scouts!

I would have hoped but I think it is because of their web page with Bush pushing people down hills in wheel chairs and their baby whining when they lose.
To: jlogajan
Well, except in a few liberal hotbeds, the pro-life candidates won across the board and the candidates backed by Emily's List and NARAL lost heavily. All but one of the candidates NARAL backed lost their races.
These factors are clearly related. Homosexuals and pro-aborts have an alliance. They are both seen as matters of "sexual liberation."

Dear TaRaRaBoomDeAyGoreLostToday!
Great screen name.
The hypocrisy of the democrats is all the more loathesome when one considers that the only anti-homosexual campaigns were all run by democrats!!
The race in Montana and several down South come to mind.

While I don't think gays should be allowed to adopt or join the Boy Scouts, I am undecided on whether they should be allowed to marry or not. I personally don't care if someone is gay or not--what consenting adults do in their bedrooms are none of my business. In some ways, I think they should be allowed to marry. But then again, the institution of marriage is based on a man and a woman. So I guess I am on the fence on that issue.

This is a myth. Homosexuality never had anything to do with this election. When you have a party so adrift as the Democrats - pretending to be Republicans - then one REALLY has to wonder why in the hell the votes went the way they did. If you would bother to look at this up close, with some kernel of intelligence, you will see that the Republican victories were well-placed leveraging in districts where the Republican candidate had a fighting chance. More money, more leverage, more votes. The mythical homosexual agenda be damned.

There are a number of factors to decide, I will touch upon them very briefly. The Gay lifestyle is against the Laws of God, from the very beginning in Genesis with the creation of Adam and his companion Eve, therein, the first covenant of God with man--a marriage covenant. Look what happened to Sodom and Gomorra when they adopted the Gay lifestyle, God became very mad and showed to the human race that he won't tolerate the gay lifestyle. Humans were made to reprodce and you can't do that if you are gay.
2. The Gay lifestyle is unhealthy, gay men have one of the highest mortality rates, due to AIDS, STD's, etc.
3. The financial burden on the taxpayers will increase since we will be charged more for products and taxes (when public employees are involved) by including the spouse, insurance rates will increase, family leave will be applicable to them, and so on. These extra expenses will increase the price of goods and services.
4. What they do in the privacy in their bedroom is fine, it's when they push their agenda in public, want equal rights as married couples have and teach their evils in the schools as being normal, which it isn't.
Let's just keep things natural and the way they are supposed to be and keep the earth populated with humans.

I'm a member of CWFA, men can join too, it's a great orgainzation and their website is one of the best.
From Ralph Reed, GOP Leader of Georgia.
And here in Georgia, for example, Ill just give you one issue that became prominent in this campaign, Max Cleland had voted against the right of the Boy Scouts to meet in public schools. This is a state, most people don't know this, that has one of the largest Boy Scout councils in the country - over 80,000 Scouts in the metro Atlanta council alone. Thats 160,000 parents, and most are registered to vote. And Max Cleland voting against the Boy Scouts, along with Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy, and by the way against Zell Miller, our other senator, really hurt him. I don't think it was any one issue. I think it was a collection of all of these.
Ha, Ha, see what happens when you mess with the Boy Scouts. That's payback for booing them at the Democrat National Convention.

what consenting adults do in their bedrooms are none of my businessThe problem with radical gay consenting adults is that they don't want to keep the door closed. They want to make it your business.
That's where I have the problem. I'm very tolerant, I think, but when I see two leather-bikini clad men dry-humping each other on a "gay pride" parade float, I react negatively. I don't even want to see straights doing that, so I'm not just "homophobic."

I gotta agree with you there......I don't want to see ANYONE groping each other in public, least of all gays. How does that expression go? "Hey, get a room!"
