PRESIDENT BUSH SURPRISES PRO-LIFE LEADERS BY SELECTING KISSINGER FOR 9-11 POST

Kissinger Strongly Implicated in Population Control and Abortion

WASHINGTON, November 29, 2002 (LifeSiteNews.com) - U.S. President George W. Bush announced Wednesday that he had selected former secretary of state Henry Kissinger as chairman of a new independent commission to investigate the September 11 attacks. Pro-life leaders were surprised by the selection given the President's aversion to coercive abortion and Kissinger's close association with it.

President Bush was praised by the pro-life community internationally for his defunding of the United Nations Population Fund due to their association with the forced abortion and coercive sterilization practices in China. However, Kissinger was intimately associated with coercive population control as he is the author of the now-declassified national security study memorandum calling for population control - coercive if necessary, in the third world.

Gilles Grondin, a veteran United Nations diplomat and past President of Le Mouvement en faveur de la Vie/Campaign Quebec Vie, (the pro-life movement in Quebec), told LifeSite that he was surprised by President Bush's selection of Kissinger. Grondin, who with his vast UN experience has been one of the most successful pro-life lobbyists at the UN, points out that Kissinger's memo NSSM 200 formed the basis of U.S. foreign policy in the area of population.

Grondin explained that the Memorandum suggested that competition from new world powers would rise when developing nations had sufficient populations to utilize their national resources to their full potential. Thus, NSSM 200 was about ensuring U.S. strategic, economic, and military interest, at the expense of developing countries, by proposing population control including by coercive means if mere propaganda could not succeed.

For more on NSSM 200 including the actual document see LifeSite at:

It's a pretty obvious scumbag operative-planted thread and I'm surprised Jim Robinson has let it live this long.

Jim Robinson knows who I am, and that I am not an "operative" of any sort, just an opinionated Catholic.

I have been quite active on this forum since July 2001, and I have never been banned (though my account was suspended once --or twice ;-) though I had to chance my screen name because I had been naive enough to use my real name, which proved to be a stupid move.

That said, it is a simple fact that Kissinger is responsible for the conceptualization and implimentation of abortion/population control-of-third-world-citizens-as-national-security-policy.

Nowhere have I mentioned any of the tin foil crap about Kissinger that have gotten other threads pulled.

I made my case for why this was relevant in post # 161.

If you'd like to discuss that, feel free to do so.

If you'd like to hit the abuse button, feel free to do so.

If you prefer to substitute insult and ad hominem for debatem, please continue.

Goebbels was know for " THE BIG LIE " propaganda machine. Seems as though you've decided to use his methods.

My point on Goebbels was that just because he was Minister of Information (propaganda) didn't lessen his role in the atrocities committed by the Nazi's. Post WWII, one would not prudently appoint Goebbles to a committee that didn't involve life or death situations, such as post war hospital administration, with the justification of the fact his past "sins" didn't have anything to do with the present "assignment". The man (Goebbles) showed a true lack of judgement or lack of conscience that should have be an indicator of his overall character, thus ruling him in for the death penalty, or ruling him out as a candidate for high office (the status I would assign Kissinger)

Therefore, in my opinion, just because Kissinger is being appointed to a role in the 9/11 investigation, one cannot discount serious moral judgemental errors made in the past, namely his active role in the UN implementation of abortion and other means of population control. Surely you don't believe in the forced or hidden sterilization of third world women, yet that is the result of the policies that resulted from Kissinger's positions (implicit or explicit).

Jews can be Americans, Brits, French,or anyother nationality, dear . Being Jewish, is like being Catholic, Methodist,Anglican, Baptist, or Hindu; it a r-e-l-i-g-i-o-n .

My response in the previous post was to the statement by Spinkspur that Kissinger was Jewish. His point seemed to be that it was an insult to compare anyone Jewish to a Nazi. The fact that you are Jewish is not an indicator of whether you are good or bad, so it is a mute point in our discussion.

Being an advocate for birth control, isn't the same thing as advocating abortion.

As a Catholic Christian, I would disagree with that statement. Both abortion and birth control have done a great deal to destroy the fabric that has held our society together for many thousands of years. It has only been since the 1920s that major Christian denominations have abandoned the belief that birth control was evil and destructive. If I remember correctly, Luther and even Calvin taught against birth control. Being open to life is one of the basic tenants of marriage.

Not being open to life, i.e, birth control, makes marital sex not MUCH better than homosexual sex (and we all know what God thinks of that).

Sanger saw birth control ( and abortion, BTW )as a good way of lowering the numbers of blacks and Irish and anyone else, whom she thought of as " inferior ".

I'm sure we would agree that Sanger wasn't exactly a prophet of God.

It has also been a GODsend, to couples of every social strata, who otherwise would have had to have more children than they could afford to raise, feed, clothe, and educate.

My, the world is now in much better shape than it was in prior to the widespread acceptance of birth control (sarcasm off).

The "world" always had the ability to feed and cloth the entire populace; countries and individuals making evil and wrong decisions have led to situations where there was starvation and destruction. The answer is to rid the world of the despots, or force them to allow food in to their countries for their starving populace. The WRONG answer is to force birth control, as has been done over the last several decades. I recently read a post on FR that as of 1999, (I think), the entire world population could be put in the state of Texas, with 1300 square feet per individual. ALL Life, from the moment of conception, stems from God, my friend, and you know it. Historically, the Catholic church used to sanction abortion, before " quickening " occurred. They also didn't have anything to say about what was tantamount to infanticide ... i.e. leaving children on church steps,in front of other people's homes, exposed to the eliments

My more educated Catholic friends will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Church's position evolved when it became known that conception occurred much sooner than the quickening. In other words, when it became known that an individual, seperate, unique, human being was created at the moment the sperm entered the egg, the Church declared that the moment at which abortion was not viable.

I personally doubt the Church EVER was silent on infanticide. Clearly, it is, and always has been, wrong.

It is now you that has moved into the arena of the "Big Lie", as taught to us by Mr. Goebbles.

What about the Europeans who stayed in Europe?

Half of Europe emigrated here. That may have relieved their own population pressures too.

Nope, poly would LOVE to be nailed to a cross ... but upside down and shot full of arrows. That's what he imagines we're doing to him. A " martyr complex ", delusions of addequicy , granduer, and religious zealotry is what drives him . His " HOLIER THAN THOU " / MORE CONSERVATIVE THAN THOU stance and CCPed tomes are those of an hysteric.

Not one bit.  I'm sure it is taking names for when it sees the Pope.:)  Looks like we have been excommunicated before we even made Catholic.:)

I have nothing against Catholics or any  other religion that doesn't preach killing everyone who doesn't believe in it, but every religion has it's zealots.

Horsecrap tinkerbell.

The best way to lose an enemy is to stomp them into the ground before they kill you.

Get on a plane, and *you* go make friends with lunatics and fanatics. Be sure and smile and say thank you, as they are dragging you through their streets.

HA! ... I went to Live-Aid .. and I still have my T-shirt to prove it ..

In some ways your friend is right .. Love can solve a lot of problems .. but for that to work .. the Hate (dictators) needs to be rid of and needs to be taken out first ..

Take a look at Zimbabwe .. from what I have read there are many beautiful parts with many resources and farms to feed the whole country .. But because of Mugabe and his merry gang of thugs stealing the land and giving it to their friends and family who won't work the land .. it is a matter of time before you will see starvation among the people living there also ..

Your post #161 blamed this country for the attack upon itself which KILLED 3,000 of our countrymen. Thus, I can consign you to the "anti-American" pile, along with those you apparently agree with...Osama, Yasser, etc.

Go march with the OTHER skinwasting protestors. You have much in common with them.

ANYONE who blames US for the murderous attacks ON us is an imbecile, unworthy of further concern or attention.

Actually, she wasn't a friend. She took the cab fare and I never saw her again. Thankfully, I might add. I prefer intelligent women, and Mrs. Cut fills the bill nicely.
