I contend that the three major Faiths originating in the near East do not worship the same God
As for Christians I was more tentative but there is much more difference betwen say........ Mormon and Cathoic and Pentecostal theology to settle this question so easily

With regard to Christian sects. Catholics, most mainline Protestants and Pentacostals all agree on the nature of God.
There are some sects that are not considered Christian by the above that do distort the image of God. The Mormons
consider Jesus to be an altogether different god than Yahweh the God of the Old Testament. Likewise, Jehovah Witnesses deny the diety of Jesus. For these reasons they are not considered cults rather than Christian by the majority of Christian denominations.

In fact the main Christian denominations define Christianity by a common definitiion of the nature of God and by a common definition of Salvation. You can have a lot of opinions about a lot of things, but when you vary from these two basic tenets you are no longer Christian.
