Respectfully, that is nonsense. As President Bush has said, we are not at war against a valid religion. We are at war against maniacs who are cowardly hiding behind the skirts of a valid religion. Well, thanks for the link, but they are wrong, too. Being wrong about God is nothing unusual, though. All our ideas about God fall far short of the glory of God. God has form. Then again, God has a myriad of forms. Then again, God is formless. To assert that God has a form and can not be formless is as wrong as to assert that God is formless and has no form, or that God has one form only.

All argumentation about the nature of God comes from ignorance. Perhaps you have noticed that the empty cart makes the most noise.

Want to know the truth? Muslims are flying airplanes into buildings and cutting off people heads while worshipping allah. You tell me who here has the empty cart? Someone that says that it is a religion of peace or someone that says that it is a cult of death? Hummmm!

Those who believe differently, who do not believe in the Triune God, who do not believe the Words of Christ, are not, therefore, Christians.

Are you supposing that all the words in _John_ are the words of Christ?

Despite the clarity that WORD = GOD (became) FLESH gives you for the meaning of a holy trinity, you are aware of the evolution of the interpretation of the trinity over the first few hundred years following Jesus's death.

The problem, of course, to make the idea of a multiplicity (trinity) compatible with the more important idea of a single deity. It isn't hard to get the impression that there are at least two distinct consciousness's--Jesus's and God's, especially from passages like Mark 1:11, “You are my one dear Son in you I take great delight” or Mark 15:33, "My God, why has thou forsaken me?" which would seem a bit odd if there were only a single consciousness.

So all those folks read from the same witness accounts, but all had a little different take on the nature of Christ in their effort to keep the religion monotheistic, while still maintaining constistency with the scriptures.

The decision on which would prevail was ultimately a political one, made by a Roman emperor.

Well, Coulter is a created being; in existence one moment, and gone the next. You are unable to truthfully assert that she hasn't returned to her Maker from one moment to the next. Similarly, you have no inkling as to whether a religion is a cult or not, or whether God exists or not.

cj its in their bible, it says to kill every christian and Jew. that is the duty of the muslims. That is what makes the Ann Coulter story chilling. People left their worship of allah and started to kill. Truth is and fact is that was what happened.
