Sylvestre Reyes, now a Congressman, was at one time a U.S. Border Patrol Agent. Now, however, his sympathies lie with the Mexican illegal aliens. He and his daughter are not doing us any favors.

I think Reyes was handed his democrat talking points when he arrived to Congress. At one time he was seen as kind of tough for daring to close the border with his Operation Blockade and he seemed able to stand up to the Mexican government which was highly critical of him over it. Luckily for the region, his Operation Hold the Line is still in place. The only reason Reyes ever went to Congress is because his Hispanic constituents liked it when he closed the border. I don't know anything about his daughter.

I don't believe for a second that Reyes's sypathies ever laid anywhere else.
