These votes shouldn't count... Rules are that voters should circle their choice with a #2 pencil..

I would agree, except the dems DID accept some votes when ink was used:

Ballots which were marked with RED pen – but which broke evenly – were allowed. Fossel down 4.

Either allow all of the votes where a pen was used...or none.

Red pen marks are as good as the # 2 pencil...that's the law of Ratoville,USA

However , the Black/blue and other ink colors favors the right wing voters....hence they are bad colors....
Bottom line............The RATS in ME senate got lucky ..
