I love the fact that you, Carlo, have stressed how important it is for families to get together in the kitchen. I have such fond memories of all of us gathered in Grandma's kitchen having a hand in preparing some glorious Italian meals.

Hey .45MAN - that recipe for crock pot stuffing sounds good - would free up some space in the oven, too.

Hi, you! I don't ever have to cook Thanksgiving dinner (thank you, hubby's sister!), but do think the yams/apples sound terrific! I may try that soon! Also, making dressing is a pain - the crockpot thingie seems like a neat way to do it!
