This short should play between the preview and the feature in every theater in the country.

Yes. How can we make this happen?

Actually, I must be quite lucky.

They played this short before all features earlier this year at my local movie theater (Edwards in Valencia,CA - about 30 min. north of LA). They looped it twice, in between the slide show that goes on before the main picture.

The first time it was on everyone went dead silent - which was interesting for two reasons - one, it was packed with teenage girls (it was some chick flick I was forced to go see) which, if you've ever been in a theater with teenage girls you know the conversation level is almost deafening! - and two, the sound was turned so far down - I was surprised people didn't talk right over it.

The second time they did talk over it - which was fine, but I found it a bit disrespectful.

It gave me chills to see it on the big screen and an amazing heretofore unknown sense of personal patriotic pride that I've never experienced before.

When I told my parents (who were home babysitting my kids) about it - my mother's first reaction was "Oh! You mean they made you watch propaganda! That's awful!!"

I was completely shocked and saddened - that my parents, and others in their generation - are so ultra-sensitive to any showing of patriotism - that they automatically see it as some form of fascistic propaganda...

...Even if it's a film that basically just wants to show you the people willing to die for your freedom.

So if it can happen at an Edwards theater here in the Southern sector of the Peoples Republic (albeit Valencia is predominantly conservative) it can happen anywhere!

Good luck!
