There is no doubt that freepers' efforts to stage public protests in Florida and in DC were productive ones; very, very powerful in light of the fact that the dems had never had any bold, vocal, and public demonstrations AGAINST them.

The real power of Free Republic lies in the fact that it is THE best compendium of conservative thought, news, and concerns of the people, information that anyone whose livelihood involves politics would do well to consult frequently. In light of the fact that our enemy has acknowledged the power of talk radio and Fox news, is it a leap to believe that Hannity, and quite possibly Rush are lurkers here and are influenced from time to time?
