Baloney. Tell me where in Michigan on a regular basis I would have had the opportunity to FReep His Slickness over the last 8 years.

Alwhore's been here a couple of times.

Tell me where in Michigan the Left insists on coming to town and rioting and we counter-protest them on a regular basis?

There are lefties here too...:)

My local point is because that where changes start(federally too). Todays' county commish is tomorrows state rep is tomorrow congressman is tomorows governor is tomorrows president.

If FR is to effect permanent change in the direction of this country, we need professional, active and effective chapters in every town. All politics is local and the best way to put the heat on is at that level. Look at what the LA chapter and Rondog did in California. We didn't win, but the lefties felt our heat and the press, on occasion, put our message in their reports. Multiply that times 1000 and all across America and real change can take place.

Take the election fiasco of 2000. Rallies alone in Washington DC would not have helped turn the tide. It was the hundreds of rallies in hundreds of cities that kept the press from spinning it into "the public doesn't care about this, they just want to see every vote count". They couldn't ignore us because we were out there in middle America, in everyones face, every weekend.

FReepers in DC do yeomans work for the cause, but if we're going to win this fight for the heart and soul of America, it needs to be taken to every Middlesex village and town. The question may start in DC, but the answer lies throughout the heartland of America.

You exactly correct. Things end up in DC, but they don't start there. It's a local issue who goes to DC. Don't like who is in DC? Have your community send someone better.
