It wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Saudis have already threatened to pull everything out of our markets if we don't tow the line. Considering the trillions of dollars they have invested, a move such as this could very well send the DOW into a nosedive the likes of which we've never before seen. It would be brutal, at least for a while. Some good deals would be for the taking, though.
I sure would like to see a list of prominent Americans the Saudis have bought off. Both Elephants and Donkeys would be well represented, to be sure.
