If it wasn't for Truman, MacArthur would have conquered all of Korean. We would not have to deal with this North Korean thing ever again. But no we let them go and now, they have nuclear weapons, and the 37,000 American troops in South Korean are almost sitting duck--if and when the North Koreans launch their nuclear/chemical/biological blitzkrieg.

Frankly, we would've have never had to worry about China again either (EVER) nor a Russian presence in the Far East. In retrospect, it would've been a convenient time to cut MacArthur's leash.
