I've never been involved in a 'riot' as you say, except on the receiving end. But yes, by all means, suspend all sports. Professional and college until 'those people' see the light. Look, it's a violent game. That violence spills over into the crowd. You don't see baseball fans rioting at a win do you?

I'm just wondering how you're going to pay for all this. Because in the end it comes down to the money. How much does it cost the university when one or two goalposts are torn down a year versus the amount of police protection that it's going to cost to keep fans off the field.
