The more of the 'state' you put into a situation like this, the more injuries you are going to have by people being beaten into the ground by police.

Then suspend the sport until folks like you get the message.

'Folks like me'? Why thank you!! Insults all around, eh? Just ignore my entire statement and go for the name calling is that it? I've never been involved in a 'riot' as you say, except on the receiving end. But yes, by all means, suspend all sports. Professional and college until 'those people' see the light. Look, it's a violent game. That violence spills over into the crowd. You don't see baseball fans rioting at a win do you?

I'm just wondering how you're going to pay for all this. Because in the end it comes down to the money. How much does it cost the university when one or two goalposts are torn down a year versus the amount of police protection that it's going to cost to keep fans off the field. Don't complain to me complain to the university.

And you didn't bother to answer my question. Should the basketball coaches be arrested and thrown in jail for their acts of vandalism in cutting down the nets?
