Buddy goes to Italy for a pro soccer game. Fans are caged in - separated by a 30 ft. high plexi-glass wall. The fans are tossin' firecrackers over the wall at each other and throwin' anything else they can find. The entire game, these guys are pounding on the glass, face-to-face, fist to fist.
After the game, he's riding a bus out of the stadium, fans are rocking cars, throwin' bottles at the bus, spittin at the LEOs (who carried M-16s, btw). He was scared to death! That ain't fun in my book.
One more thing, Bobby and the boys will be back next year. Enjoy the win.
Fraid not stainless. Bobby hasn't coached very much in several years now because he had such a good staff. Now that staff is leaving piece by piece, and he hasn't done such a good job of hiring replacements either. Nepotism reigns supreme in Clowntown.
We sure are pleased with Richt and Van Halenger here in Athens. They will be here for a long time to come. Keepers they are. Deo Vindice
