Football celebrations got out of hand ... At the turn of the previous century, College Football was almost killed off by player violence but was saved by Theodore Roosevelt. Looks like we need another White House intervention to save it from its fans.
How stupid and un-necessary but so typical of today's party-hearty college cliques. I know that there are those who go to study and that some of these rowdies are the 'victims' of alcohol, but the Universities need to start re-asserting discipline and true punishments.

Lighten up, everybody! It is a tradition to tear down the goal posts after a big win. Also to decorate the trees with toilet paper, soap windows in school colors, and get drunk. This has been going as long as there have been intercollegiate sports. It is not a sign we are becoming the 3rd world. If people were killed in full-fledged riots after a football game we would have room for concern. Until then, please don't try to take the fun out of it. Have an adult beverage and chill.
