After a tense 30-minute segment finished taping at WDSU's studios in New Orleans, the two candidates were preparing to leave. According to witnesses, Landrieu looked over her shoulder and told Terrell, "This is your last campaign."

A stunned Terrell replied, "She threatened me."

I heard this on TV last night and was stunned. It is outrageous for Mary Landrieu to make such a statement, and Suzie has every reason to interpret this as a threat. But after all, Mary is a RAT, so maybe can't expect any more of her. However, I don't believe that the people of Louisiana will tolerate such outrageous behavior from a Senatorial candidate. We're going to vote in record numbers for Suzie Terrell, our Senatorial candidate who espouses true Louisiana values. Suzie will work with Pres. Bush for the benefit of Louisiana and our nation.

"I heard this on TV last night and was stunned."

HA!!
Only because you're such a nice, civilized person, newslady.
I honestly cannot say this even raised an eyebrow on my behalf.

Lookit: These Liberal-Socialists are some damned mean people!
Moreover our civilized, composed, & almost *polite* conservative nature has -- up to just recently -- been our archilles heel & the very reason a William Jefferson Clinton could not only survive -- but thrive -- in the 90s.

Just think about the past ten years, for instance.
When dealing with the Leftists we've traditionally REFUSED to get down in the dirt & play hardball with 'em.
As such we've had our heads consistently handed to us; since, the PUBLIC by & large percieves our *civil* response as not *just* weakness.
BUT more a case of conservatives being on the wrong side of the issues.
Wrong inasmuch as we could not & would not defend ourselves by going to the extent we were required to by circumstance.
This must, & will, change.

"It is outrageous for Mary Landrieu to make such a statement, and Suzie has every reason to interpret this as a threat."

Maybe not "physical" but definitely political.
Of course; we're ALL thinking the same thing about *dear* Mary, eh?
We just ain't *saying* it; why, that wouldn't be polite now, would it? :o)

"But after all, Mary is a RAT, so maybe can't expect any more of her."

You shouldn't be expecting ANYTHING from this desperate, cornered [anaimal] except, "The Mother Of All Catfights."

"However, I don't believe that the people of Louisiana will tolerate such outrageous behavior from a Senatorial candidate."

IF THEY (La electorate) KNOWS ABOUT THIS BEHAVIOR!!
One CCRM person to another we understand it'll be the public's *perception* which'll win the day.
Right?

"We're going to vote in record numbers for Suzie Terrell, our Senatorial candidate who espouses true Louisiana values. Suzie will work with Pres. Bush for the benefit of Louisiana and our nation."

That's where you come into the picture with all your hard, tireless, selfless efforts to get out the *word*.
If you've time, ask PhiKapMom about what happened in OK; she worked as hard as anyone possibly could've & I'd bet learned a TON. In spite of the results.

...you're doing just swell, kid; give 'em hell!

"She threatened me."

I've a feeling that Senator Terrell might find herself saying this a lot upon working in close proximity with Hillary.
