Good point. However, I do remember someone (here on FR, of course) saying the law will not be in effect for this runoff. Louisiana's Gross State Product will probably double between now and the 7th.

Yes, I do remember now hearing something about how both sides can legally throw as much money as they like at this race.

And on that note, Terry MacAuliffe was really proud of raising three times as much money this year for a losing effort. Let's hope he's even prouder next month. :D

My comment at #10 was not a swipe at Louisiana. My thoughts were that there is lots of money now flowing into the state. The local media outlets gotta be getting rich at least.
