San Francisco-AP -- Coretta Scott King is speaking out against the possibility of a war on Iraq.
She says an attack on Saddam Hussein would increase anti-American sentiment, create more terrorists and drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says should be invested in America.
The civil rights leader and widow of Martin Luther King Junior says homeland security ought to be "more about providing health care for every citizen, and less about reshuffling bureaucratic agencies and undermining our civil liberties."
King spoke in San Francisco last night, after receiving an award from the Metropolitan Community Foundation. It's a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organization that provides services to homeless and other needy people.

The attacks on the WTC and Pentagon and their aftermath cost a lot of money too, Coretta. Yeah...20 million to New York and signed by Bush himself.

"It's a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organization ..."
which buys its behavioral minority status from the civil rights leaders of legitimate minorities.

200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says should be invested in America. i.e. redistributed to liberal organizations for the benefit of her and her friends.

Well, of course she wants us to do nothing. She's just another rat who wants to see America destroyed.

What in hell do professional widows know about foreign policy?

The Kings (Coretta and children) have taken MLK's name and drug it in the dirt. They've cheapened it, and no one gives a flip what they have to say. They are leaders of no one-- much like Jessie Jackson.

Now I understand why MLK chose to screw around with as many other women as his libido could handle.
To: GOPmember
If she doesn't like the war in Iraq, go bitch to Saddam. He started it.
To: GOPmember
What exactly qualifies her to open her mouth on any of the nation's matters? That she shared the bed with M.L. King?
Why does anybody even listen to her?

Wonder if she'd be talking out of the other side of her mouth if one of her kids had perished at WTC.
What an idiot!

Coretta Scott King,ANOTHER RELIC FROM THE PAST!
To: GOPmember
Dear Ms. King,
To: mhking
Mrs. King feels she can speak up on this issue because so many have painted her late husband as a "man of peace," meaning he wouldn't be for any kind of war. I say she's entitled to her opinion but she needs to understand that there's a time and a place for war.

If I may I would like to translate the original article to bring everyone the real message behind Mrs. Kings statement.
WARNING: This is only a joke.
San Francisco-AP -- Coretta Scott King is speaking out against the possibility of a war on Iraq.
She says an attack on Saddam Hussein would increase Pro-American sentiment, kill more terrorists and drain as much as 200 billion taxpayer dollars that she says (since she paid most of that I assume?) should be invested in the Metropolitan Community Foundation. It's a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender organization that provides Liquer to homeless people.
The civil rights leader and widow of Martin Luther King Junior says homeland security ought to be more about providing drugs and alchohol to every homeless welfare parasite, and less about providing security for our homeland.
This was only a joke and absolutely DOES reflect what I got from her quotes.
