I wasn't talking about allowing illegal aliens to do this work. I was talking about having a guest worker program so they could do it legally.

And, no, Americans will NOT do the work. At almost any price. Of course, most of the work comes with no benefits. Who could afford to have someone clean their house once/week or mow the lawn in the summer if they had to pay health insurance?

These are jobs that have a certain value - either there is work at the price it is worth, or there is no work at all.
