D'you remember stories from the 7-'s /80's about women in FLorida being kidnapped and taken to Saudi?.......................................

I didn't live in FL back then. I'll have to admit it doesn't ring a bell.

"I was not promoting Clinton."

I know, I know. I was merely adding to the list of Presidential impeachable offenses.

"I think I will repeat it again. The daughter of the King of Saudi Arabia, wife to the ambassador, was using her Washington banking account to funnel $3,500 a month to terrorists who flew into the Pentagon, and our administration does not want to not only not do anything about it, but to quash the investigation."

I have to agree with you. Any administration that puts financial relationships above - way above - national security is worthy of impeachment.

Hey... Who died and elected Bush king? He wants to go into Iraq. He needs the quasi support of the Saudis, so he isn't persuing them. Is that really complicated?

15 of 19 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia. The Ambassador's wife was sending money to the cause. Bush added 13 countries to the list of countries whose citizens would get extra attention when visiting the US. Sudan, Afghanistan were added. Saudi Arabia wasn't. For 1 reason only and you know it. Screw BartCop and the DU and liberals. Suggesting something is rotten in the state of Denmark doesn't make you a liberal, it means you have a freaking brain.

If a group of New Zealanders blew up a bunch of things, then took out 3,000 americans, and their ambassador's wife gave money to the punks who did it... we would be on them like white on rice. We would import our sheep from somewhere else and move on. Oil on the other hand..... allows the state that funds the Wahabi sect, to literally get away with murder.

The coming war with Iraq will become a war against Arabs and maybe all Moslems. We live in very interesting times indeed.

One terrorist organization pursuing another?

I guess that would be like the liberal left pursuing islam - seems that would rather vent all their efforts on christians over their stance on abortion and homosexuality - keeps em too busy to go after the real terrorists in this country.

It's far cheaper and cleaner to burn than oil. Easier on the machinery, too.

No it isn't, how are you going to manufacture it?

If this was Clinton, we'd be asking for impeachment proceedings by now.

If this was Clinton we would be arresting militia members and blaming the whole thing on a right wing conspiracy and sending more military secrets to china while getting a blow job by the president of NOW in the oval office.

This administration is aware that the ambassador's wife funnelled money to the terrorists who killed 3,000 fellow citizens, and this isn't getting more than a cursory examination?

Maybe it is, just not as much by the press. I would say play them like fiddles. Use them to get to Iraq. Then Iran. Crumble their base around them and then crush them. We have Afghanistan. We will get Iraq. Iran is going to crumble either within or from without.

We will use the Saudis as long as we need them, but don't ever think they are not on the chopping block. Taking over the middle east will take time - but rest assured we will own the whole darn patch of desert there, even if it looks like we don't.

Why is it the left is so hell bent on blaming Bush for 9/11? They cannot stand that he won. Had Clinton been in Office they would still blame the right for it somehow, claiming it was corporate america that gave saudis the money to give to the terrorists.

I am not blinded by Bush or anyone else, I am an independent conservative - I have no one to protect. I am a little upset at the continual using of 9/11 by those on the left to destroy fellow countrymen for political advantage. If we find that during the Clinton administration that people in Saudi arabia donated money to terrorists and he knew it but did nothing would the left run about asking for an explination from 'the big dog'? No. The reason is they care more about what they can get out of the deaths of thousands of people then about spending resources to avenge their death and punish the guilty.

If SA is guilty, and I for one believe they are, we will get to them. ONE enemy and country at time. Do you think we should invade them all at once? I say take the slow road and kill em off one at a time, using each one as a stepping stone to the next. Give it time? What's your hurry?

As the line in Henry V went when discussing the three traitors (Sir Thomas Gray, Henry Lord Scroop - I may have misspelled that one, and the third guy), "They will be dealt with by and by."

Diplomacy, as the saying goes, is saying, "nice doggy" until you have a rock.

In the case where you have a pack of dogs, you take out the ones with the biggest bite first. Iraq and North Korea will have to come first on that qualification, based on the presence of weapons of mass destruction.

So, in dealing with the Saudis, we just need to say "nice doggy" to them long enough to deal with Iraq and North Korea first. They are the moneymen. But Saddam is the likely armorer for terrorist groups seeking chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. Take that out first, and follow it up with North Korea.

Then, we deal with the Saudis in one swift stroke.

Is that before or after they remove their $860 billion in assets from the US? It reminds me of why we didn't go after China or Russia in the cold war. They had nukes. Period. Saudis have oil and money, which is just about the same thing in relation to our economy. If the Saudis pulled out their assets tomorrow, we would have a very very bad 2003, 2004, 2005....

One major difference with Saudi Arabia is that they aren't a renegade regime per se. They simply choose to deal with the crazies in their midst by accomodating them.

If faced with angry U.S., they will back down, just as Israel does.

If the Bush administration had any balls, we'd have declared war on the Saudis by now.

Funny, most liberals hate the US going to war no matter what the excuse is. If we did attack Saudi Arabia what do you think you and the DUer's and other liberals would be saying? It's all about the oil.

We will get to them, but in our own time and way - as I said in another post, whats the hurry? And where are all those jewish conspiracies I see from the left? I mean, maybe the Israeli secret ops made it look like she sent money so we would attack them too. After all, bush only cares about oil ya know.

It would be bad for them. We can and will find more money and oil, but without a market for their oil they are irrelevant. Maybe they will market it to China - but then China tends to like to take things instead of asking (much like they did with Tibet). Let's see...South Africa? Uh yeah, they won't be getting much out of them. The EU? Well, a little better, but the EU already gets oil from them and won't need enough more - not to mention the price would be terribly low since supply would be high and demand low.

They need us. They hate us, we hate them, and until we take over them or bleed all the oil out of them it will be that way. Personally I say blow em off the face of the earth, but things are never quite that simple.

Do I think they are complicit in 9/11? Some of them probably have had a hand and I would guess we may see some executions in the near future there. In the case of Iraq and Afghanistan, think about the government there and think about why we attacked them and not SA.

We can work with the SA to get those complicit, we cannot work with Saddam or Taliban.
